Bagwhores

February 5, 2019

Bagwhores is a collaboration between me and a meth addict named Floyd. I met him at the Coffee Bean on Sunset and Fairfax. He wrote poetry but couldn’t find a way to link his thoughts. So he stole $200 from the newspaper stand where he worked for a week and hired me to help turn his…

Exhale

February 5, 2019

Exhale was originally published in The Fictioneer.   1736 Kelton Avenue is not on any registry of haunted places. There are no neighborhood stories of ghastly murders, and it has never been featured on “Ghost Hunters.” It is a standard apartment building, rectangular, cream-colored, 150 units with balcony, elevator, and underground parking. Looking up at…

The Butterfly Moth

February 5, 2019

My short short story, “The Butterfly Moth,” was recently published in Five 2 One Magazine. You can read it and listen to me perform the story here. A big thank you to Justin Baker for voicing the Moth.

Aquamarine

February 3, 2019

“Aquamarine” was originally published in the December 2013 issue of the literary journal, The Fictioneer. The girl hesitated in front of the restaurant’s patterned glass doors. She removed her engagement ring with a twist and dropped the heart-shaped cubic zirconia into her purse. She closed her eyes, filling in the black with an image of her…

I’m playing Karen Lamm, the 3rd (and 4th!) wife of Beach Boy Dennis Wilson, in the Promenade Playhouse’s original work Dennis Wilson Forevermore: A Beach Boy’s Fable. The show runs Friday and Saturday nights at 8 pm through December 17th, so you’ve got 3 more weeks to catch us! Tickets are just $13.50 on Goldstar….

The Butterfly Moth

August 27, 2016

My short short story, The Butterfly Moth, found a home in Five2One Magazine. It was a unique opportunity, because they also ask authors to read their works, and as a voiceover artist that was a cherry on top! It’s just 800 words, and you can read it (or give it a listen) here.

New Year, New Projects

February 15, 2016

Exciting things are in store for 2016…but I can only share a couple of them with you right now. I’m pacing myself… The first is that I booked a project at the end of last year with Betty Mae Casting. I’d been dying to get into that casting office for years, so when Lindsay Graham…

Drift Girls

August 1, 2015

Drift Girls has launched! If you’re a fan of video games then I highly recommend the innovative new racing app Drift Girls. I voiced two of the girls. I’d tell you which ones, but let’s add to the game and see if you can guess! 😉 Visit Drift Girls Online

I got paid to get in shape. I was a fitness model for a day and am on the cover and inside the pages of a new book. I also demonstrate the exercises on video…and yes, they work! I was sore the next day and don’t ever want to bear crawl again.

Long Way Down

February 1, 2015

Check out this music video I did for Robert Delong’s hit song “Long Way Down.” I know, I know…apparently I don’t know how to put out a fire. 😉
